Ashley Ghostkeeper is a proud Métis artist from Alberta whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with modern country and roots influences. Growing up in a musical family in Red Deer, she was inspired by her Aunty and Grandpa’s guitar playing and began writing songs at a young age. Deeply connected to self-expression and healing through music, Ashley’s sound features pedal steel, fiddle, keys, and honky-tonk licks, capturing both vulnerability and strength.
Since 2021, she has performed across Canada, from intimate venues to major festivals and arenas, sharing stages with artists including Clay Walker, Jake Owen, High Valley, Aysanabee, Sacha, and The Washboard Union. Her songs have been featured on Apple Music, SiriusXM CBC Country, and top Indigenous playlists, earning three #1 hits on the Canadian Top Indigenous Music Countdown.
Winner of 2025 YYC Music Awards Indigenous Artist of the Year, Ashley has also received multiple nominations including Solo Artist, Songwriter, and Country Recording of the Year. A driven voice for empowerment and proud representation, Ashley Ghostkeeper continues to inspire through her authenticity and Métis heritage.
