For over 100 years, Central Albertans have been celebrating!

Our history goes all the way back to 1892 with the first Red Deer Fair. Originally an agriculturally focused event showcasing produce and livestock, what we now call Westerner Days evolved through the years to include a parade, chuckwagon racing, midway rides and live entertainment. We’re so proud of where we’ve come from and look forward to continuing to celebrate Central Alberta and the people that make it home.
